Chicken & Turkey

Our chicken is all free run and hormone free!! We have ‘start from scratch basics’ or ‘ready to go’ meal ideas for your weekly shops or quick stops. Working on a theme nite, let us help.

Chicken Breasts

Our most popular item is our boneless and skinless chicken breasts. These are a perfect start to your meal ideas, individually frozen so you use only what you need. We have a variety of marinated breasts that are perfect for incorporating into your recipes. Choose from Souvlaki, lemon herb, sundried tomato, teriyaki and honey garlic. Souvlaki are also available in satays. The flattened 5 oz. portions make a great burger but we also have a variety of chicken breast burgers as well.

Specialty Grain Fed Whole Chickens

Get back to the basics and stop by to pick up a fresh fryer to cut up for your favorite recipe, or pick up a roaster to put in the oven for roast chicken with onions, carrots, and potatoes – just like mom used to do for Sunday dinners.

Stuffed Chicken Breasts (Cordons)

Our hand rolled breasts are lightly breaded and come with a variety of fillings. Some favorites include ham and cheese, broccoli and cheddar, or chicken with apples, cranberries and crème brie. Try our seasonal variety of turkey stuffed with cranberry sage stuffing. Just bake in your oven and enjoy a gourmet entrée.

Chicken Breast Strips

No need to deep fry. Tender and juicy every time. Our chicken strips are made from top quality full muscle breast and are ready to go from freezer to oven to table. And what a happy family you will have when you serve these. Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Strips are now available!!

Chicken Wings

Fully cooked wings are in high demand and our Honey Garlic Wings are always a family favorite. Other varieties include, Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper, Teriyaki, Buffalo, and Barbecue. Come on in and try something new. All of these are BBQ or oven ready!

Fresh Turkeys

Your family dinner is a special time so don’t forget to order your Fresh Specialty Turkey from Neufeld Farms. If a full bird is not on the menu, try our no fuss Turkey Roasts or Turkey Breast Fillets. Turkey Cordons are also a great choice. Ground turkey and Chicken Turkey Breakfast Sausage are available year round.

Beef & Pork

At Neufeld Farms, we take pride in bringing you tender hand cut steaks and juicy burgers made from Certified Angus Beef. We also have a great selection of pork products too!

Canadian Steaks, Aged 28 Days

The New York Striploin is our favorite, AA – AAA always juicy and tender and full of flavor!! Or you may want to try our Top Sirloin or Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin. Marinated Steaks, Peppered Steak Bites and Kabobs are also great on the grill. Try our Shaved Prime Rib for your Stir Fry for beef dip.

Sirloin Beef Burgers

Our delicious 5 oz. Chopped Steak Burgers are tasty and juicy. We also carry a 4 oz. Johnston’s Gourmet Burger made with beef and pork. Do you know that we carry a wide variety of burgers including Gourmet Halibut Burgers, Salmon Burgers, Veggie Burgers, Beyond Meat Burgers, Turkey Burgers and Chicken Burgers.

Lean Ground Beef

The same great flavor that comes from the Angus Beef is what you will find in our Lean Ground Beef. It is lean and has a great texture. Top quality and packaged in 1 pound chubs. Try it once and you will be back for more. Available in a 10 pound case.

B.C. Pork

If you like fall off the bone tender, try our Baby Back Ribs. Fraser Valley Meats supplies us with their farmer sausage and maple pork breakfast sausage. Johnston’s farmer sausage and pork tenderloin are available fresh in the deli cooler. We also have Dry Ribs for game night!! Maui Ribs and Pork Chops are a summertime favorite on the grill. Pulled Pork and fully cooked KEG Baby Back Ribs are also ready to go meal ideas. We have a variety of bacon in our deli cooler or fully cooked bacon and bacon pieces in the freezer.

Seafood

Our seafood is sourced from sustainable fisheries and features local and ocean-wide product. Seafood is a great source of protein, and our customers love our great selection of products!

Wild Sockeye Salmon

What a treat!! Try our salmon sides on your barbecue for your family and have a gourmet meal in minutes. Our 6 oz. wild salmon portions as well as our wild salmon skewers are perfect for individual entrees. Smokey Applewood Salmon fillets are also a great option.

White Fish

Basa, Cod, Tilapia, Sole, and Halibut are all readily available in our freezer case. We have top crusted, and battered varieties that are sure to please you and your family. Try our popular Pubstyle Battered Cod, Cod Nuggets, or our Wild Alaska Fish Dippers. Great in fish tacos as well!!

Prawns, Shrimp & Scallops

Grill our Garlic and Herb Butterflied Shrimp or Shrimp Skewers with our juicy top sirloin and make it a surf and turf night. And if scallops are your thing, the bacon wrapped scallops are perfect!! Check our selection of seafood appetizers and ask us if you need some recommendations.

Our most popular items are our Lobster Cakes or Seafood Crab Cakes. Wonton Shrimp and Bam Bam Shrimp are definitely a must for your appetizer menu. One of our newer seafood items is our Savoury Salmon Hand Pies. A gourmet entrée!! Tuna steaks now available.

Appetizers

We stock a variety of top quality appetizer ideas for you to round out your meal menu. We have seafood, beef, chicken, pork, vegetable and gluten free options available.

Chicken

From our Fraser Valley Farmers we have your favorite chicken wings. Honey Garlic, Teriyaki, Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper and of course Buffalo to name a few. These are fully cooked and oven ready. Or use your own recipe with our raw drumettes or split wings. Our display freezer have a variety of Chicken Strips and Chicken Nuggets for you to choose from.

Seafood

Change up your appetizer menu and incorporate some of our great seafood choices. Our favorites include the Wonton Shrimp, Lobster Cakes, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, and Bam Bam Shrimp. Your kids are going to love our Wild Alaska Fish Dippers and the Cod Nuggets. . . and not just for appetizer nite!!

Pork & Beef

Pork Dry Ribs, Peppered Steak Bites and of course our Mini Angus Beef Sliders are all especially perfect for game nite.

One thing about being part of this great community, is the many farmers that work so hard to bring us their best to our tables. Birchwood Dairy is one of those farms, and we are honored to be able to support them! Check out their ice cream and dairy products in our market! We are also happy to have our local farmers also supply us with fresh eggs.

Bakery Goods

You can’t beat fresh, local, baked goods! Olivier’s Bakery supplies us every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with artisan leaven bread. Their bread is made with slow fermentation process and contains no preservatives, GMO, sugar, oil or dairy! Along with that, we get fresh baked buns and bread from Buns Master every Monday and Friday. If you are looking for something sweet, we have plenty of options for you! Grab a pie or crumble from Simon’s Specialty Foods, or pick up one of our delicious cupcake packs from Tracy Cakes Bakery. We also carry over 13 flavours of Dessertco cookies, just bake the cookie dough pucks from frozen, serve and enjoy!

Local Flowers

We are thrilled to carry local flower bouquets from Petals and Leaves, as well as, Lam’s Ear Florals! Together they supply us with a vide variety of bouquets that are sure to brighten anyone’s day! Petals and Leaves’ bouquets are artistically crafted to give a whimsical and romantic feel. While Lam’s Ear Florals provide bouquets with a rustic farmhouse charm!

Gluten Free

Come check out our gluten free products! We carry a variety of gluten free baked goods, breads, meats and gourmet products that you can trust. Wendel’s True Foods supplies us with locally handcrafted cookie dough, pies, pastries, and tarts! More specialty treats are available from Decades Bakery – from cinnamon buns to muffins, we’ve got it all! Their tasty oat bites take the win and should be added to every shopping list! We also carry products from Bob’s Red Mill and Promise Gluten Free. Next time you’re in ask an employee for a Gluten Free List, we would love to help!!

Watkins

Need to find that cinnamon or vanilla that grandma used? Watkins is ready for the home cook who deserves only the best! We carry a wide variety of their spices for any meal and any cuisine! Along with that, we have plenty of their extracts which will add great flavour to your baking! Unfortunately, Watkin’s household line is no longer available, including the well-loved medicated ointment and petro carbo.

Cookies & Pies

One of our favorites at the market are our unbaked cookies and pies. We have a large selection to choose from and they will not disappoint. Just take them home and pop them in your oven from frozen. They are made from wholesome ingredients just like gramma used. Nothing says homemade more than our fruit pies fresh form the oven. And don’t forget to check out our creamy Cheesecakes made with real Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

Bars & More

Feeling like something sweet? We have a lot of options in our market when it comes to finding something to share, or just bring home for yourself. Shop for breakfast, and pick up some muffins, scones, and cinnamon buns. Or invite a friend for coffee and take home ready to eat tarts, tracycakes or oatmeal fudge bars. Always a treat ready for you, just ask if you need help finding them.

Specialty Frozen Treats

Birchwood Dairy Ice Cream is a premium ice cream made right here in the Fraser Valley. We carry a full line of thier many varieties and yogurts. We also have Noras plant based, dairy free icecream, made in Vancouver. Perfect if you are vegan, made from cashews and available in a variety of flavours. . Or if you are looking for specialty sorbetto or gelato, Marios will satisfy your craving.

Market FAQ

Do you make all of your products here?

We are chicken farmers and grow chickens. They get processed by our local processors. We then buy back chicken from our local processors in a variety of products. All of our chicken is from local growers from the Fraser Valley.

Do you only sell products by the case?

In our market we have all of our products available by the case or in convenient size re-sealable bags.

Do you have another market?

We are a family run farm and market located in Abbotsford B.C. This is currently our only location.

Do you deliver?

No we do not at this time, but we would love to see you make a trip to our market.

Is your chicken organic?

The chicken industry in B.C. has very high standards. All chicken are raised using extreme care in health, diet and hygiene. All of our chicken is free run and hormone free. Although we do not carry organic chicken, we do carry a Heritage chicken. Heritage Chicken is specialty grain fed, non medicated, with no animal byproducts in their feed.

What do your chickens eat?

Our chickens eat a diet of grains(corn, wheat and barley) with some byproducts (soy and canola meal). In smaller quantities, energy sources such as animal and vegetable fats and mineral and vegetable supplements are also added. They are raised in barns that allow birds to roam freely at their comfort.

Can I bring my kids for a farm tour?

Although we can not allow you to roam the farm freely or enter out barns, we do have a nice grassy area for you to enjoy an icecream cone or your basket of berries together on the farm.
